Dr Hossein Abroshan
Project Lead
Senior Lecturer, Course Director for MSc Cyber Security, and Director of the Cyber Security, Networking, and Applications (CNA) Research Group at ARU.
With over 25 years of academic and industry experience, his expertise spans cybersecurity, AI, security of critical infrastructures, and human factors in cybersecurity. He has led multiple EU and UK-funded projects, holds key cybersecurity certifications, and actively contributes to international research and editorial boards.

Research Assistant
Syed Waquas Hashmi is a Cambridge-based Machine Learning Engineer and Cybersecurity Specialist. He builds secure, scalable AI systems, with expertise in federated learning, intrusion detection, and cloud-based analytics. His work spans industry and academia, including AI security projects like CyBOK and SIROCCO.
